Public Enemy #1

Growing up I was a big hip hop fan and still am! Just that alot of the hip hop out right now is negative. I miss the good old 80's where we had righteous hip hop like self destruction and all in the same gang and fight the power!!!!! Well here is a look back at the 80s.

Well today is a slow day in the office so I thought I'd post some new stuff! I've been really busy at work of late plus I'm in the middle of trying to close on a house. Yeahhhhhh my first house! but I've been trying to make time to draw in my sketchbook and really hit the nail on some good ones. This is really two pages from my book that i put together for one post. Just some random faces I drew as time was passing.

Sketch of the day

I've been trying to keep up with a sketchbook as of late and I been doing a pretty good job of trying to do at least one a day! well here are two pages out of it. Not my best pages but I did like the way these came out. I tried not to spend too much time on these! Just 3 min or so on each one and move to the next one. Trying to get my speed up so i can work faster but still put out good art work.

Zapp Mama

Well last night I took the wife to see Zapp Mama! Boy was it a good show! a really good show! She rocked it for 2 hours straight and only left the stage once to change clothes while the band kept playing. Erykah Badu stole alot of her act now that i saw her perform live. It was bad enough that they sound so much alike when they sing but their stage shows are also pretty much the same. Here are some pics from the show. I really hate my digital camera i think its time for a new one i got it so long ago and it doesn't have a zoom! I was right up on the stage and these came out like i was far away.

The Female MC

Anybody that knows me knows that I'm a hip hop fan, I mean i love hip hop its in my blood! I listen to alot of good hip hop not that radio stuff or that Crunk music which i think is trash but thats for another blog. lol!!! if you look back on my blog i got a hip hop related pics so why not one more? This is for the lady MC's out there!!!!!

The Batman

Here is a Batman pic i did for the ending of a batman boat game on Cartoonnetwork.com. You have to beat the game to see this at the end which i have yet to do. I did a few short animations in thru out the game.

Gotta Keep her Happy!

Well for awhile now me and the wife had been sharing the same computer. I'd be trying to work and do a freelance job and she'd come in and and waant to bump me off to check her email. I'm in the middle of a job here and you want me to stop so you can check your email. Well after alot of going back and forth at it i went ahead and broke down and got her her very own toy!!!

Well at the top of the year I did a freelance gig to do some Shaman King Trading cards. Well here are a few of them. I don't even know if these ever made print.

Well the other night i started on my all girl sketch book trying to get loose and get back into the flow of drawing something that didn't require Flash Mx or cleaning up mu pencil lines. Well here is one of the first things I drew.

Well awhile back I did a freelance job where I had to design some Dads for fathers day and I never posted them. Don't even know if they used them or not. Doesn't matter I guess i still got paid. LoL Nothing like a a freelance gig that pays and pays on time. Well I did like 10 different dads so here's a few of them.Tell me what you think.

well here is something that i did for my wife! She wanted something hang up in the house. I Dont have any of my own work in my apartment and since she's not into Hip Hop like I am I thought maybe some Jazz since she's always playing some around the house.

New Flash Project

Well this is a pic form a new flash screensaver I've been working on. Just started it so theres alot of it missing that i havent put in. I'm a big Whats Happening fan so its gonna be based off the opening of that show, where Rerun was trying to catch the truck.

2DAYS Quick drawings

Well i was digging in the crate today and came across a few old pics i don't think i ever posted on any boards that i go to form time to time. I think the color version of the girl is on my website and this snoop no one has ever seen. Awhile back i was suppose to do a flash cartoon of Snoop than never came about but i was messing around with designs for him and this was one of the first ones I did.
