Alias Sketchbook

Today is slow and Thanksgiving is closing in on us fast. I downloaded a copy of Alias Sketchbook Pro which is a pen-based sketching tool that gives you the power to draw like you would on paper. Its pretty cool and easy. Well here is a quick sketch i did on my wacom in the alias sketchbook. If you'd like to try it out here is more info on the program,

    Quick sketches 11/21/05

Its Monday and I really didnt get any new drawings done over the weekend. I'm in the middle of moving so I thought i'd post the last thing i drew in my sketchbook from last week. Drawing people never really was my thing until I got a chance to view a few other artist sketchbooks. I'm really getting into it and knocking these things out. I've been trying to do at least one head a day and fell the page if I'm lucky.

Well I just wanted to post something new that I've been taking my sweet time to work on and finish! Here is a pic form my What's Happening super quick teaser. I just wanted to do a screen-saver for myself and a few friends and its coming along pretty well. This isn't finished gotta add the other main characters to the shot but here is a shot form the animation. Maybe someday i can pitch this to a network, but i am thinking of posting it on a podcast if it turns out good enough.

    Dawud Anyabwile

I just wanted to highlight a fellow artist that I get hype about every-time I see something new from him. His art kicks ass and makes me want to burn every drawing I do and start over just because he's skills are so much more advanced than mine. Some of you may know him form his Brother Man comic books from back in the day. Well enough chit chat just check out

Being on Blog I've run into alot of artist on here that i love their artwork. Gets my blood pumpin! All i can say is I hope that i can give that same feeling to someone when they look at my art. Well here is a little something I did for American Greetings this year. I had to design diffrent types of grad students i think i did about 10 of them but here are just three. I'll have to post the others later. I'll have to find the files. I need to label all my cds with my backups on it.

    Public Enemy #1

Growing up I was a big hip hop fan and still am! Just that alot of the hip hop out right now is negative. I miss the good old 80's where we had righteous hip hop like self destruction and all in the same gang and fight the power!!!!! Well here is a look back at the 80s.

Yeahhhhhh my first house! but I've been trying to make time to draw in my sketchbook and really hit the nail on some good ones. This is really two pages from my book that i put together for one post. Just some random faces I drew as time was passing.
